After spending most of my life in the South Bay Area, I moved to Groveland in 2012 to help my retired parents. I decided to try the small-town life and I stayed here. After a mechanical engineering career of 22 years, I went into residential construction (remodel and additions), receiving my General Contractor License in 2009.
I walked into the Groveland Evangelical Free Church in January 2016 and accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior in May 2016. I have had no formal theological education but was given a hunger to learn the Word of God by the Holy Spirit and I began getting involved in various aspects of the church right away.
Most recently, I have been leading a men’s bible study on Monday mornings and was also a member of the Pastoral Search Team that called our current pastor, Bob Kandels. I was voted-in as a member of the Elder Board on April 24, 2022.
I look forward to the many opportunities to serve our great God, our congregation and to prepare the church for the next generation.
